Lichia spent half of her childhood in Taiwan, and the other half in Toronto. Nomadic by nature, she started to travel as soon as she could afford to. Sometime in 2008, she began to carry travel sketchbooks to record her observations; this would turn into a lifelong habit and a powerful force behind her creativity. She is fascinated by nature, animals, cities, and people interacting with their environments.
In 2013, Lichia took a detour from her urban design career and founded Gotamago, a stationery and gifts brand that specializes in paper goods featuring her watercolour illustrations. She lives and works in Toronto with her husband and daughter, and their ever changing roster of foster dogs.
